I like it less after learning about the Shadow of a Doubt influence. That is a much, much better movie. I’m not sure this one understood that one; it seems to take the popular surface-level understanding of the Hitchcock work and polish that up while completely ignoring its core themes.As an exercise in style, this is a massive success. But I do expect more substance from Park Chan-wook.
